Visitors are invited to stroll amidst elegantly decorated windows, while shopping at boutiques and enjoying seasonal libations and delicious meals at local restaurants.

Window Walk brings back the time-honored tradition of going downtown to see festive windows, while showcasing the CWE’s retail and dining establishments. The CID has partnered with St. Louis-area designers who will be decorating storefronts and spreading holiday cheer all throughout the neighborhood.

Visitors can also enjoy FREE holiday festivities, including ice carvings, carriage rides, carolers, live music, street performers, pictures with Santa, s’mores, kettle corn and more!

Each first Sunday of the month at 10am, from November to April, we'll be working on designated sections of the neighborhood pruning trees & shrubs.

November 5 - Meet at NW corner of Chouteau and Taylor

Some tools and gloves will be provided. Everybody is encouraged to bring pruners, hand saws, loppers, gloves, protective eyewear, or step ladders.

Festivities kick off with fun daytime activities for the whole family. Then, as the sun sets, the party continues with an adults-only bash and costume contest, known for its elaborate, complex, and outrageous costumes and featuring cash and prizes!

The Legendary CWE Halloween party is FREE and open to the public.

Location: In the heart of the CWE – Centered around Maryland Plaza and Euclid Avenue

Event Schedule:

11 a.m. – Children’s Costume Parade with Costume Characters and Cinderella’s Carriage

Children’s parade from McPherson to the main stage at Maryland for festivities including: • A dance party, pumpkin decorating, kids crafts and games • Performances by Consuming Kinetics and songs sung by a princess • The Magic House • Perennial

12 p.m. – Children Trick-or-Treat to area businesses

1 p.m. – Dog Costume Parade from McPherson to Maryland

• Dog games, contest and winners announced at the stage (Maryland Plaza and Euclid)

2-6 p.m. – Live Music on the main stage

6 p.m. – Street Party Begins

The FPSE Great Gathering is the neighborhood's largest event that brings everybody to Chouteau Park for free food and drinks, and games, local organizations and more.
